How Does It Work
Five levels take you from your first line of code to a job in a real company. The first three are the same whichever JCC program you end up in, so you can start before you have chosen one. Each level begins within days of the last one finishing, so you never sit out a quarter waiting for the next intake: about 14 months from a standing start, or around 10 if you join at CS200.
Start From Zero
Twelve sessions for someone who has never written a line of code. How computers and the web really work, then you build your own web page with HTML and CSS and publish it to a live address you can open on your own phone. It finishes with staying safe online, using AI well, and where a tech career goes next.
Already comfortable with a computer and the internet? You can start at Level 2.
The Web, Then Programming
CS100 assumes nothing, including from ITP000 graduates. Five weeks building the web from scratch, HTML by hand and CSS to real depth, published live with git. Then six weeks of Python from zero, up to functions and the data structures real programs are built from. It closes with a capstone that joins the two.
Already write HTML, CSS and a little Python? You can start at Level 3.
Where Every Path Meets
CS200 is where the computer science lands: JavaScript from the DOM through to a Node and Express back-end, MySQL taught properly and from zero, and a full-stack capstone you deploy and defend. It takes the foundation deeper and gets you ready for whichever specialization you choose.
Choose Your Field
This is where the paths separate, and the first three levels do not change whichever one you pick. Agentic Software Engineering is running now: build real full-stack applications with AI coding agents, and learn to direct the agent and own the result in review. Data Engineering, Cybersecurity, Mobile Development, DevOps and Cloud, and Digital Agency follow.
The Program Ends. Our Job Doesn't.
Every JCC program ends the same way. As your final level closes we start placing you in a paid internship at a real company, and we keep working until you are in one. For some it is arranged before they finish. For others it comes after the program has ended, and we stay with them, in touch and working on it, until it does. Many never leave: the company that hosted them hires them.
A paid placement in a real company, on every program.
Courses This Semester
Transform your career with our comprehensive, hands-on tech programs. From frontend and backend to data engineering and beyond, we've got the perfect course to launch your tech journey.
ITP000
Pre-BeginnerIntro to Tech & Programming
Level 1 of the JCC ladder. Twelve sessions over four weeks for someone who has never written a line of code: how computers and the web really work, then you build your own web page with HTML & CSS and publish it to a live address you can open on your own phone.
CS100
BeginnerComputer Science I
Twelve weeks in two blocks. Five weeks building the web from scratch - HTML by hand, CSS to real depth, responsive layouts published live with git - then six weeks of Python from zero, up to functions and the data structures real programs are built from, finishing with a capstone that joins the two.
Foundation Bundle: ITP000 + CS100
Level 1 and Level 2 bought together: four weeks finding your feet in ITP000, then twelve weeks of the web and Python in CS100. One payment, one admission, and no second decision to make in October.
CS200
IntermediateComputer Science II
Twelve weeks in a single language. CS200 takes the foundations you built in CS100 and goes deep on JavaScript - the language, the DOM and asynchronous code - then puts MySQL underneath it and a Node, Express and REST back-end on top, finishing with a full-stack capstone you design, secure and ship.
Foundation Bundle: CS100 + CS200
Both halves of Fundamentals of Computer Science, bought together and open to everyone - no ITP000 required. Skip Level 1 if you already know your way around a computer, and start with CS100 in October.
Full Foundation Bundle: ITP000 + CS100 + CS200
The whole foundation, start to finish: 84 sessions across seven months for D28,500 - what reaching ASE300 cost under the old two-level foundation, which gave you 60. And because the levels now chain quarterly, the whole ladder takes about 14 months rather than 19. The deepest saving on the ladder at 25%.
ASE300
AdvancedAgentic Software Engineering
Go full-stack and build production web apps the agentic way, directing AI coding agents to write real software while you stay accountable for every line. Intermediate and advanced JavaScript and TypeScript are taught as the review lens you use to read, catch mistakes, own, and ship what the agent builds, across React, Node, SQL, and Next.js.
Enrolment closed. This cohort started on 17 August 2026 and is running now, so registration is closed. The next intake opens in April 2027.
EH101
BeginnerEthical Hacking
A free 1-week cybersecurity workshop for the technically inclined. Build your own Kali Linux lab, learn Linux and the terminal from scratch, and run your first real scan with nmap. Our gift to the JCC family, and the taster for the paid Ethical Hacking Pro Week.

Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our programs, enrollment process, and what to expect during your learning journey.
No prior experience required! Our programs are designed for complete beginners. You start at ITP000 (Intro to Technology & Programming), four weeks that end with a web page you have published yourself, then climb CS100 and CS200. Everyone does CS200 before specializing, whatever their background. Each course starts within days of the last one finishing, so you never wait out a quarter. Our experienced instructors and teaching assistants provide personalized support throughout your journey.
The only prerequisites are passion for learning and dedication to the program. You'll need a laptop and internet access - we'll help you set up your development environment. Every specialization, ASE300 included, requires CS200 completed at JCC: whatever your background, there is no way past it.
Here's your path:
- Choose your starting point - complete beginners start with ITP000, then CS100, then CS200.
- Specialize in your track - Agentic Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Cybersecurity, Mobile Development, DevOps and Cloud, or Digital Agency.
- Complete your track and secure a paid placement with one of our partner companies.

Every JCC program is the same five-level ladder, so the length is the same whichever one you choose:
- Level 1 (ITP000): 4 weeks
- Levels 2 and 3 (CS100, then CS200): 12 weeks each
- Levels 4 and 5 (your specialization): 14 weeks each
Each level begins within days of the last one finishing, so the whole ladder takes about 14 months from a standing start, or around 10 if you join at CS200.
Every program ends in a paid placement at a real company. We start placing you as your final level closes and keep working until you are in one, and many students are hired by the company that hosted them.
